Trading Recommendations for the Cryptocurrency Market on May 27
Demand for bitcoin and ether has continued early this week. Bitcoin remains above the $109,000 mark, while Ethereum is trying to consolidate above $2,600.

Yesterday's news that Strategy once again conducted a round of Bitcoin purchases confirmed sustained demand from institutional investors. According to a press release published on Monday, the company—co-founded by American entrepreneur and investor Michael Saylor—acquired 4,020 bitcoins last week, totaling approximately $427.1 million at an average price of $106,237 per coin.

This brought Strategy's total holdings to 580,250 BTC, purchased at an average price of $69,979 per bitcoin for a total cost of roughly $40.61 billion. The company now holds an unrealized profit of $22.7 billion and controls nearly 3% of Bitcoin's total supply of 21 million coins.

Strategy has been funding these acquisitions using proceeds from the sale of its Class A common stock (MSTR), preferred stock (STRK), and Series A preferred stock (STRF). According to the report, between May 19 and May 23, Strategy sold 847,000 MSTR shares for $348.7 million in net proceeds. In addition, it sold 678,970 STRK shares for $67.9 million and 104,423 STRF shares for $10.4 million.

These actions undoubtedly support the optimistic sentiment in the cryptocurrency market, signaling strong long-term confidence from major players in the potential of digital assets. Investments of this nature significantly influence the perception of Bitcoin as a legitimate asset class capable of competing with traditional financial instruments. Furthermore, they indirectly impact Bitcoin's price—rising demand, particularly from institutions, reduces available supply in the market, which can drive the asset's price higher. It is important to note that these investments are not simply speculative; they reflect in-depth analysis and a long-term strategy by companies that view Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, a tool for portfolio diversification, and a way to participate in developing innovative technology.

As for the intraday strategy on the cryptocurrency market, I will continue to act, also relying on any significant drawdowns of Bitcoin and Ether in the expectation that the bull market will continue to develop in the medium term, which has not gone anywhere.

As for short-term trading, the strategy and conditions are described below.

Bitcoin

Buy Scenario

Scenario 1: I plan to buy Bitcoin today at an entry point near $109,400 with a target of $111,000. I'll exit long positions and sell on a pullback at the $111,000 level. Before entering, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is above zero.

Scenario 2: I will also buy Bitcoin from the lower boundary of $108,500 if the market does not react to a breakout in the opposite direction, aiming for $109,400 and $111,000.

Sell Scenario

Scenario 1: I plan to sell Bitcoin today at an entry point near $108,500, targeting a drop to $107,200. I'll exit shorts and buy on the bounce around $107,200. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is below zero.

Scenario 2: If the market does not react to a breakout, I will also sell from the upper boundary of $109,300, targeting $108,500 and $107,200.

Ethereum

Buy Scenario

Scenario 1: I plan to buy Ethereum today at an entry point near $2,611, targeting a rise to $2,667. I'll exit longs and sell on the bounce around $2,667. Before buying on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is below the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is above zero.

Scenario 2: If there is no reaction to a breakout, I will buy from the lower boundary of $2,580, aiming for $2,611 and $2,667.

Sell Scenario

Scenario 1: I plan to sell Ethereum today at an entry point near $2,580, targeting a drop to $2,521. I'll exit shorts and buy on the bounce around $2,521. Before selling on a breakout, ensure the 50-day moving average is above the current price and the Awesome Oscillator is below zero.

Scenario 2: If the market does not react to a breakout, I will also sell from the upper boundary of $2,611, aiming for $2,580 and $2,521.
